1. About Revel Gallery

Revel Gallery is a live event gallery platform that enables guests to capture selfies, short videos ("Cameos"), and photobooth strips that aggregate into a shared real-time gallery. The Service is currently in pre-launch and is offered on a best-effort basis as described in Section 3 below.

Revel Gallery is a product of Squirrel Studios. References to "Squirrel Studios", "we", "us", or "our" throughout these Terms refer to Squirrel Studios and its affiliates.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Early Access & Beta Programme

The Service is currently in a pre-launch, early-access phase ("Beta"). During the Beta:

• Features, pricing, and availability are subject to change at any time without notice.
• The Service is provided "as-is" and without any warranty of uptime, data retention, or feature completeness.
• We reserve the right to discontinue, suspend, or materially alter the Service at any time.
• Data — including event captures (photos and videos) — stored during the Beta may be deleted at the conclusion of the Beta period. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice before any such deletion.

Participation in the Beta is voluntary and does not create any obligation on our part to provide a commercial or production-ready service.

4. Waitlist & Early Access Sign-Up

By joining our waitlist or submitting your email address through any Revel Gallery form, you agree to receive occasional communications from us including product updates, early-access invitations, and campaign news. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in any email we send. We will not sell or share your email address with third parties for their marketing purposes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee early or any access to the Service, and confers no contractual rights to any specific feature, pricing tier, or timeline.

5. Kickstarter Campaign & Backer Rewards

Squirrel Studios may operate one or more crowdfunding campaigns on the Kickstarter platform to raise funds for the development of Revel Gallery. By pledging to a Kickstarter campaign, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

5.1 Nature of a Pledge

A pledge to a Kickstarter campaign is a contribution toward the development of a product, not a purchase. Kickstarter campaigns are governed by Kickstarter's Terms of Use, which take precedence over these Terms with respect to the pledge transaction itself.

5.2 All-or-Nothing Funding

Kickstarter operates on an all-or-nothing model. If our campaign does not reach its stated funding goal, no backer is charged and no rewards will be fulfilled. In that scenario, we have no financial obligation to backers.

5.3 Estimated Rewards

All backer reward tiers — including access to platform plans, photobooth hardware, and any other described benefits — are estimates and intentions, not guarantees. Reward descriptions represent our good-faith plans at the time of publication. Actual delivery may differ in scope, specification, timing, or form.

5.4 Risk of Non-Delivery

Software and hardware development involves inherent risks. Squirrel Studios cannot guarantee that Revel Gallery will launch, that any specific feature will be built, or that any backer reward will be delivered in the form described. Reasons for non-delivery may include, without limitation: insufficient funding, technical challenges, changes in market conditions, regulatory issues, or business decisions to cease development.

In the event that the campaign is successfully funded but Revel Gallery does not launch or ceases operations before rewards are fulfilled, we commit to:

• Providing backers with a written update explaining the circumstances, published to the Kickstarter campaign page and emailed to backers where contact details are available.
• Making a good-faith effort to provide partial or full refunds proportional to any unspent funds remaining at the time of cessation, after accounting for legitimate development and operational costs already incurred. We cannot guarantee any specific refund amount.
• Refraining from using backer funds for purposes unrelated to the development of Revel Gallery.

By pledging, you acknowledge that crowdfunding inherently carries the risk of non-delivery, and that your pledge may result in no product or reward being received.

5.5 No Equity or Ownership

A pledge to our Kickstarter campaign does not confer any equity, ownership interest, voting rights, or profit-sharing rights in Squirrel Studios or any of its products.

6. User-Generated Content

When you capture and submit photos, videos, or other content ("Content") through the Service, you retain ownership of that Content. By submitting Content, you grant Squirrel Studios a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and transmit your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service (e.g. displaying your capture in an event gallery).

We will not use your Content for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond the immediate operation of the Service without your explicit consent.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the right to submit the Content.
• You have obtained any necessary consents from individuals who appear in the Content.
• The Content does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

You must not submit Content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove Content that violates these Terms.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Use the Service to capture or distribute content of minors without parental consent.

8. Intellectual Property

The Revel Gallery name, logo, product design, software, and all related intellectual property are owned by or licensed to Squirrel Studios. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, or branding without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Given the pre-launch nature of the Service, we make no representations about the reliability, accuracy, or continued availability of any feature or data.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SQUIRREL STUDIOS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) £50 / $50.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date, and where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
